Bayern Munich suffers the refusal of this great coach

Bayern Munich is having difficulty attracting the various coaches it is currently coveting.

Who to replace Thomas Tuchel at the head of Bayern Munich? The question remains relevant for the moment, especially since we are not rushing to take the reins of the Bavarian giant for the moment.

Ralf Rangnick, reportedly has “concerns” about accepting the German giants’ offer, even though discussions are ongoing between the two parties. While he had been preferred to Zinédine Zidane, he could therefore be the next to reject the Munich residents.

Bayern will not give carte blanche to its future coach

According to the Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten (SN), the coach of the Austrian national team is hesitant to accept Bayern’s offer. The source claims that the 65-year-old technician would only join the Bavarians if he had a “very important right of inspection” on transfers and coaching staff, which might not be guaranteed at the Allianz Arena.

SN adds that the Austrian football federation is unlikely to prevent Rangnick from leaving after Euro 2024 this summer, provided compensation is paid.

Faced with this situation, it is not impossible that Bayern will ultimately seek to keep Tuchel on their bench, especially since a petition has been launched by the supporters for this scenario to be verified. “While this topic is good for me when they (the fans) want you to stay, it is not something that is a priority and it is not allowed to be a topic of discussion. In the next eleven days, it will only be about football, nothing else,” declared Tuchel for his part.
