Bayern Munich wants to do something crazy with Jamal Musiala

If La Masia is back in fashion at the moment and the Spanish team is once again on the rise, other particularly promising young people have also emerged elsewhere in Europe. This is the case of Jamal Musiala, who has left this label of hope behind him for a while now and who can already be considered a confirmed player and a reference to his position in Europe despite his 21 years.

However, his contractual situation is complex and causes some headaches for Bayern management. Indeed, even if he has not expressed a desire to leave, publicly at least, his contract expires in 2026, in a little over a year and a half. A situation which leaves the Bavarians in a weak position, while Musiala is announced in the sights of clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid.

A monstrous salary?

Asked by Sky Sports Bavarian sports director Max Eberl was very clear about it this weekend. “The fact that Jamal is an extraordinary player is also the reason why we want to extend his contract, and why we want to make him the new face of FC Bayern to a certain extent”he declared. And the German media confirms that Bayern management is ready for anything.

If he signs a new contract in Bavaria, the German international could see his salary rise to a total of 25 million euros gross per season. A certain generosity which testifies to the club’s confidence in its player, and to the emoluments that Bayern is not used to offering, quite the contrary. The German ogre intends, contrary to what is happening in the Alphonso Davies case in particular, to spoil his player…
