This evening, Bayern Munich beat Union Berlin (1-0) and came within four points of the leader, Bayer Leverkusen. But the Bavarian club lost Dayot Upamecano to injury. Replaced at half-time, the French defender will remain away from the field for several weeks.

“It’s an injury to the fibers in the back of the thigh. It’s a matter of weeks, not days. This is extremely bitter for Upa and for us. He has been in top form for many weeks”declared Thomas Tuchel at a press conference.
