Bayley wanted to be there for NXT Battleground. However, she has been forced to miss the show due to a cold.
WWE Women’s Champion Bayley took to Twitter on June 9 and wrote that she planned to fly to Las Vegas and attend NXT Battleground on Sunday. However, she noted that she caught a cold. As a result, she said she needed to rest to make sure she was 100% for Clash at the Castle. The former NXT Women’s Champion also wrote that she was so proud of NXT.
I had planned to fly to Vegas and be there live for tonight’s show, but unfortunately I caught a cold and I need to be 100% for Clash! So I’m resting at home but I’m gonna do some live tweeting and maybe IG live for this historic show tonight. I’m so proud of @WWENXT pic.twitter.com/UsEiwa6rF0
