Bayley’s recent victory in the women’s Royal Rumble and her path to WrestleMania have been fueled by a sense of being overlooked despite her considerable accomplishments in WWE. Despite setting records and achieving success, Bayley was not featured on the Royal Rumble poster and was not included on the WrestleMania 40 banner.

In an interview on WWE’s The Bump, Bayley acknowledged that these instances do get to her, but they also serve as motivation. She expressed frustration at not being on the WrestleMania banner and pointed out that she eliminated Bianca Belair in the Royal Rumble, setting a record in the process. Bayley sees these situations as fuel to push herself to make history in the ring.

“I hate to say that it gets to me, but it’s been happening way too often. They just posted a WrestleMania banner, and I’m not on it. They put freaking Bianca [on it]. You know who eliminated Bianca? Bayley. I set a damn record. What else do I have to do? Those things fuel me to do what I did on Saturday, to make history. So if they don’t want to put me on a poster until I make it into the freaking Hall of Fame, then fine. I’ll wait for it. Because I don’t need them, I don’t need the sheep, I don’t need anybody.”

Bayley also mentioned her separation from the Damage CTRL group on WWE SmackDown, emphasizing her independence and determination to succeed on her own terms. She is now set to face IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40, and she is determined to continue making her mark in WWE, regardless of the recognition she receives from posters and banners.

How do you think Bayley’s frustration at being overlooked will impact her performance and mindset as she heads into her match for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40? Let us know in the comments below.
