BBC Sport have been making their predictions ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Across TV and radio, BBC Sport have a massive number of pundits working covering matches.
A very wide breadth of backgrounds as well, childhood fans of numerous clubs, having played for clubs across the board.
So there is no real reason to think they will be biased in their choices, is there?
Surely not when 30 of them are asked their collective opinions anyway…
So, BBC Sport asked the following for their thoughts on what would happen towards the very top end of the Premier League.
So, 19 out of 30 predicted Manchester City will win the 2024/25 Premier League title.
However, Arsenal seen as a real threat now with 11 votes. No other club fancied to win the Premier League outside the pair who finished top two last season.
So what about when the 30 BBC Sport pundits are predicting the top four places overall?
This is the breakdown of how many of the 30 ‘experts’ selected each club as one of their four choices:
30 Man City
30 Arsenal
27 Liverpool
11 Tottenham
7 Chelsea
6 Newcastle United
6 Man U
2 Aston Villa
1 West Ham
You have to say, not a lot of imagination / breaking of ranks there either, with Liverpool automatically seen by 27 of the 30 to get one of the other top four spots.
Which sees the 30 BBC Sport pundits collectively thinking just one other spot to be fought over by the rest.
I find it a little bizarre that Tottenham get as many as 11 votes, followed by Chelsea with seven, then Newcastle and Man U with six each. Villa with only two and not seen as serious contenders this time, whilst West Ham getting that single vote of confidence.
Leon Osman, Pat Nevin, Shay Given, Lindsay Johnson, Troy Deeney and Anita Asante the six of the 30 to choose Newcastle United.
