Rasmus Hojlund was asked by Rising Ballers to share some wisdom for young players hoping to turn professional.

The Dane has already picked up a plethora of experience over the past years despite still being at the very start of his career. Hojlund was 20 years old when he sealed his big-money move to Manchester United (£72 million) and now sees his name adorned on the back of fans’ shirts week in, week out as he represents England’s most successful club.

Hojlund spent his youth years in his native Denmark before being promoted to Copenhagen’s senior squad in 2021. He quickly attracted eyes from numerous clubs across Europe and in 2022, made the switch to Serie A outfit Atalanta.

In the summer, Erik ten Hag was adamant that the youngster would be the one to fill United’s longstanding No.9 void and while he was made to wait 15 games before opening his account in the Premier League, supporters are optimistic that Hojlund will only continue to improve the more he refines his game and settles in England’s top division.

Hojlund’s advice to aspiring players

In response to Rising Ballers request for a tip he used to ‘make it’, Hojlund responded: “Be a better version of yourself every day. You can only be better than you were yesterday! And always get back up after a defeat.”

We asked some of the best pro’s in the world for one bit of advice they’d give you to make it 👀🙏

No doubt he’s been reeling it off around the changing room this season, too.
