Becky Lynch released her memoir, “Becky Lynch: The Man – Not Your Average Average Girl” earlier this year and it was critically acclaimed in a very short time. The book had a lot of detailed instances with Vince McMahon and now Lynch has explained why she didn’t edit out McMahon from her memoir.
While speaking during the Vulture Festival, Becky Lynch was asked if Vince McMahon’s resignation from WWE and TKO Holdings affected anything she wanted to put in her memoir.
Becky Lynch explained that she had mostly finished her book by the time Vince McMahon stepped down. She was in the editing process when that happened, and it would have been difficult to make changes at that stage. As a result, she decided to stick to sharing her own personal experiences, including those she had with Vince McMahon.
“Well, so I had kind of finished the book for the most part. By the time he had stepped down. And then I was in the editing process, and it would have been hard to kind of navigate. So I just kind of had to keep to my experiences. These were my experiences that I had with Vince.”
The federal lawsuit against Vince McMahon is currently on hold pending federal investigation and remains in stay until December 11. Becky Lynch will always respect Vince McMahon for everything he has done for her career, but her feelings towards him are likely to remain complicated due to the allegations against him, and that may never change.
