There are many couples who are wrestling together. Some of the popular couples are Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, Bianca Belair and Montez Ford, Jimmy Uso and Naomi, The Miz and Maryse, and many more. One such couple in the list is a couple of former WWE Men’s World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and The Man Becky Lynch. The two not only were an off-screen couple, but they made their relationship public, and they had a storyline on WWE Television as well.
Recently, while speaking to Vulture.com, The Man Becky Lynch reflected on the hardships she and her husband, Seth Rollins faced in making their relationship public. The former WWE Superstar mentioned that one of the reasons they hesitated to make it public was because she knew that then-Chairman Vince McMahon would want to put them in a storyline. Once they made it public, that was exactly what McMahon did. But unfortunately Lynch was not happy with the way the storyline went about and she claims it was a bad idea.
“Wrestling relationships can get messy. I’d never been in a relationship that hadn’t broken up, and neither had he. It’s one of those things, especially when you’re climbing to the top, and you don’t want anything to take the wheels off the car. We weren’t sure if we would come forward with it. Then if we came forward with it, then surely Vince would want us in a storyline. He did, and it was bad,” Becky Lynch said.
