Becky Lynch has finally earned a victory over Nia Jax.
In the main event of the March 18 episode of Raw, Lynch was able to get up by the count of 10 but Jax wasn’t so lucky. As the match progressed to its end, things were looking up for Jax. She drove Lynch into a table set up in the corner of the ring with a Samoan Drop. Then for good measures, Jax dragged Lynch over to another corner and landed an Annihilator. Lynch rolled out of the ring at the last second to get to her feet.
Jax then took Lynch to the ring apron and looked to deliver another Samoan Drop, this time from the ring apron to the table set up at ringside. Lynch countered and hit a ManHandle Slam crashing Jax through the table. Both women got back to their feet to continue the match but Jax was certainly out of it and had no idea where she was.
Lynch climber a ladder which was already set up by commentary. She waited until Jax made her way over to the commentary table as Lynch delivered a leg drop from the ladder and onto Jax, crashing through the announce table. Lynch would get back to her feet just before the 10 count but Jax couldn’t.
As Lynch was back in the ring post match, Rhea Ripley’s music hit. The Women’s World Champion made her way down to the ring and confronted Lynch. The women exchanged words as Raw went off the air.
Prior to this match Liv Morgan did run into Lynch backstage and told her she wouldn’t get involved but wanted Lynch to destroy Jax.
Elsewhere on Raw, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell took on Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. The match was short but did its purpose to continue having LeRae as a heel.
Chance appeared to have “injured” her knee in the match which led to Hartwell stepping back to give her opponent a moment to get back to her feet. LeRae tagged herself in and didn’t care about being a good sport. She took Chance’s knee and met it with the ringpost. She made Chance tap out for the victory.
In a WWE Exclusive, Hartwell took LeRae to apologize to Maxxine Dupri after the comments that were made last week. LeRae apologized but only for Durpi to say she was hurt when she was told she wasn’t good enough to be a WWE Superstar. LeRae then backtracked and said that part was true and that Dupri is absolutely rotten in the ring and shouldn’t be here.
As Dupri left, Ivy Nile showed up and went after LeRaw. Hartwell broke it up but Nile said to never talk about her friend that way again.
LeRae vs. Nile is set for next Monday.
