Becky Lynch’s status as WWE Superstar made her a major part of pop culture in general, since she’s been keeping herself busy with film projects during her WWE hiatus. In fact, Seth Rollins has now revealed that Lynch is currently working on a secret project that will be released soon enough.
While speaking in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Seth Rollins revealed that Becky Lynch has been working on a secret project while away from WWE. This new project is set to come out even before her role in the Star Trek series.
Rollins made it clear that Becky hasn’t been taking a break during her time away from wrestling. She’s been busy working on this project since May 2024. He also mentioned that their family has been traveling a lot because of her filming schedule.
“My wife loves acting, she’s way better at it than I am. She’s got awesome stuff coming out. Obviously she’s announced her bit on Star Trek, I think that comes out in May next year. She’s got another secret thing that I’m not allowed to talk about that will be coming out sooner than that. You know, people been like, ‘Oh she’s been on hiatus taking a break.’ She has not been taking a break, she has been working her tail off since May.
So she is hustling. We’ve been living all over the place for what she’s been doing. Like the shoots have been in different locations, so we’ve been bouncing around. Spent like a month in Toronto for the Star Trek thing and I think a month or two in the East Coast earlier last year as well for the other top secret thing. So yeah, she’s been super busy.”
Becky Lynch will be starring in the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series next year and in addition to that, she landed a role in Happy Gilmore 2. While she has yet to return to WWE television, it’s clear Lynch has kept herself busy in a big way, so we’ll have to wait and see when Lynch will reveal the other secret project she has been working on.
