If you search the BFFR Show on Instagram, you’ll most likely come across a photo of Sydney Leroux’s daughter Roux (aka Sissy) with a stank face. Although it was her natural reaction to not liking tofu, the image taken by Ali Riley encompasses the abbreviation of the show name, “Be Fu**ing For Real.”

It all started on their road trip against the Utah Royals as the duo ‘interviewed’ their Angel City FC teammate, Alyssa Thompson. The three sat down on the floor of the airport with a mini microphone as they were waiting to board their plane and discussed Thompson’s one job: to bring the speaker on their trip.

Where was it? Back in her room in Los Angeles, Calif., of course.

With video introductions based on the latest trends of transitions, questions about their icks in men, and candid conversations about their soccer careers, BFFR is a place where two professional soccer players host authentic conversations from their iPhones and a mini microphone. And they reach more than 200,000 people in the process.
