Jude Bellingham has delivered a reassuring message to Real Madrid, with the England star saying she will be “back in no time”.

The 20-year-old midfielder suffered a sprained ankle while helping Los Blancos to an impressive 4-0 victory over Girona, the Whites’ rivals for the La Liga title this season. Bellingham scored twice in this encounter, but was also forced off just before the hour mark.

It was suggested he was lucky to avoid ligament damage, which would have led to months of immobilization, but he is expected to be ready to be recalled to the field in a matter of weeks . And Bellingham hopes that will indeed be the case.

Bellingham reassures

After receiving a new blow which will result in forced unavailability, the player spoke on social media: “ I’ll be back in no time, your messages have kept me positive. Gracias madridistas! »

According to the schedule, Bellingham will not be able to play the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League against RB Leipzig, nor the La Liga matches against Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla FC. Bellingham, who has scored 20 goals in 29 appearances this season, will be greatly missed by the Madrid side. The Whites, however, have a great strike force and hope to remain in contention for the national and continental titles while their number 5 watches them from the stands.
