Ben Stiller & Apple’s Eddy Cue Set For SXSW Featured Session On Media & Entertainment

Ben Stiller and Eddy Cue, Apple‘s senior vice president of Services, will join the upcoming SXSW for a special Featured Session, “Moving Culture Through Innovation and Creativity”. The conversation will take place on Sunday, March 9 at 11:3 0am CT in Ballroom D at the Austin Convention Center. 

The two will discuss topics ranging from media, entertainment and music to sports and Stiller-driected and EPed Severance, which will include never-before-seen clips from the show.

“We’re honored to welcome Apple legend Eddy Cue and entertainment icon Ben Stiller to the SXSW stage,” said Hugh Forrest, SXSW President and Chief Programming Officer. “Together, they’ll bring a wealth of knowledge to this conversation, and we’re excited about the opportunity for our community to get a look at never-before-seen content from the groundbreaking show, Severance.”

In Severance, Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. In addition Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro and Christopher Walken also star. Stiller serves as director and executive producer with John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz and Nicholas Weinstock.

SXSW runs from March 7-15 in Austin, TX. Apple TV+’s show biz comedy The Studio and the Blake Lively Anna Kendrick comedy Another Simple Favor will kick off the fest.
