Benfica: Renato Sanches successfully passes his medical

Renato Sanches is getting closer to the exit. Returning from his loan at AS Roma, the Portuguese midfielder has never really convinced since his arrival at Paris Saint-Germain from Lille in 2022. Having become unwanted in the French capital, he is nevertheless preparing to bounce back in Portugal where PSG has found him a place to stay. Included in the deal to sign João Neves, the 26-year-old player will be loaned with an option to buy (estimated at 10 million euros) to Benfica.

Expected in Lisbon this Thursday, Renato Sanches passed his medical examination with the Lisbon club as reported by A Bola. The medical examinations carried out by the Portuguese international proved conclusive since the local media specifies that the main person concerned has automatically joined the team in the Algarve where it will face Fulham as part of its summer preparation, this Friday. Thus, the officialization of his loan should take place in the next few hours.
