Al-Ittihad was able to count on its two former Lyonnais again this Thursday.

The Jeddah club disposed of Al-Okhdood as part of the 6e day of the Saudi Pro League (1-2). This thanks to goals from Karim Benzema and Houssem Aouar.

The first, well served by Moussa Diaby, opened the scoring with a strong strike (51e), scoring his seventh goal of the season already.

The second found the fault at the end of the match (89e) – when the locals saved the honor in added time – for his fifth personal achievement.

Al-Ittithad took advantage of this success to join Al-Hilal in the lead with 15 points on the clock. The leader and outgoing champion have a match to make up against Al-Ahli this weekend.
