While rumors of Karim Benzema’s departure have gained momentum in recent days, the French striker should not, unless there is a surprise, leave Saudi Arabia this winter.
Karim Benzema has (finally) made his return. Expected on January 2 for the resumption of training with his club Al-Ittihad, after the winter break, the Ballon d’Or only showed up this Thursday, 17 days late. The “Nueve” justified this setback by the fact that it remained stuck on Mauritius due to the passage of Cyclone Belal. While the rest of his teammates are currently training in Dubai, where Al-Ittihad is due to play two friendly matches on January 24 and 28, Benzema will remain in Saudi Arabia to prepare for the second part of the season.
