Saudi football bosses do not want Benzema to return to Europe!

Karim Benzema (36) is currently in the eye of the storm at Al-Ittihad, the Saudi club he joined last summer. Late return to training, excluded from the group and targeted by rumors generated by his own club, the native of Bron would dream of a return to Europe. His former club Lyon was also mentioned as a potential base.

Benzema could be transferred… to the Pro League

But according to an indiscretion signed L’Equipe, the bosses of Saudi football and the PIF (public investment fund) do not want to hear about a return of the former Merengue to Europe, which would be seen as a huge disavowal.

The PIF, on the other hand, has started discussions with other Saudi clubs to find out their plans for Benzema, who could therefore experience a much shorter move than initially hoped….
