EXCLUSIVE: Veteran actor Bernard White has signed with Artists & Representatives and Craig Dorfman’s Frontline Management for representation.
With extensive work in film, television and the theater, White is known for his memorable performances in The Matrix films, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, American Dreamz and television series including Silicon Valley, Kidding, Big Sky and more.
His latest lead role in Amar Wala’s feature film Shook is set to premiere in the Discovery sidebar at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. White portrays Vijay, Ash’s (Saamer Usmani) father who wants to reconnect with his estranged son, and Nisha, Ash’s mother.
White has collaborated with directors, including Wim Wenders, Michel Gondry, Kimberly Peirce, Minkie Spiro, the Wachowskis, the Russo brothers, Chris and Paul Weitz, Ryan Fleck, and Anna Boden, in film. In theater, he has worked with Tony-winning directors Michael Greif, Bartlett Sher, and Rebecca Taichman. He is also a regular at Lincoln Center and the Williamstown Theater Festival.
