SummerSlam is this weekend and the event has had a long history with WWE dating back to 1988. For the women, they didn’t get an official match until 1995. This was partly doing to the match in 1990 never taking place as Queen Sherri defeated Sapphire by forfeit when Sapphire never showed up.
A couple good matches are to come this Saturday with a very personal rivalry has the Women’s World Title on the line as champion Liv Morgan defends against Rhea Ripley. Nia Jax will also get her Queen of the Ring match win as she challenges Bayley for the WWE Women’s Title.
