UTA on Monday announced the expansion of its creator practice with the addition of Beth Heard as an agent in its UK Creators division.

In her new role, Heard will focus on expanding UTA’s European roster of audio-endemic and digital-first talent, which includes the likes of Madeline Argy, RedHanded, Jampot Productions and Young Filly. She’ll be based out of the agency’s London office.

Heard joins from Sixteenth, the London-based management agency that represents the UK’s leading thought leaders, change-makers and creators. She spent a little over three years there, most recently serving as Head of Talent. To date, she’s built the digital-first careers of some of the UK’s biggest creators, from booktuber Jack Edwards to the queen of UK true crime, Eleanor Neale. Heard’s career also includes six years of senior communications experience working predominantly in the health, beauty and wellness industries.

In a statement on UTA’s new hire, fellow London UTA Creators agent Shelby Schenkman said, “We are thrilled to welcome Beth to our rapidly growing Creators division in the UK. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the digital-first landscape will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand UTA’s presence globally.”

Highlighting UTA’s commitment to the creator economy, Heard’s hiring comes as part of UTA’s multi-year global expansion strategy that has included several international moves, including the recent acquisition of leading European football agency ROOF, opening new offices in the heart of London’s entertainment district in 2023, and the year prior, the acquisition of the UK’s Curtis Brown Group.

UTA is recognized for its ability to break stars and expand their brands across multiple forms of media and entertainment, having started the first digital talent practice at a major agency in 2006 and being the first to house a dedicated gaming and esports division. Notable clients of the UTA Creators practice include Emma Chamberlain, Alix & Ashtin Earle, the D’Amelio family, Jake Shane, Kai Cenat and Alex Cooper, to name just a few.
