Beyoncé has some hair-raising news for fans.
The “Single Ladies” singer, 42, teased that she was working on a haircare brand nearly a year ago, and on Tuesday, she finally dropped the announcement fans have been waiting for, posting on Instagram that she’s launching a line called Cécred later this month.
“Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20. Visit CECRED.COM,” she captioned the Reel, which showed clips of people (including Queen Bey herself) getting their hair done interspersed with an image of a sheet draped over a TV that showed images of a salon.
Cleverly, the business is named Headliners Hair Salon, the name of the hair salon her mother, Tina Knowles, once ran (and where Destiny’s Child used to sing for clients before they got their big break).
At the end of the video, an adorable clip of young Beyoncé and her mom in the 1980s waving plays as the clip ends.
The official Cécred Instagram account shared another video showing social media comments and videos from fans talking about the new haircare brand as well as a voiceover of the “Halo” singer saying, “obviously I grew up in my mother’s hair salon.”

Naturally, members of the Bey Hive went wild for the news.
“Yonce girl my pockets are tired!! But I’ll figure it out per usual,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I can feel my edges growing back already.”
Her male fans also committed to the new line, like one who wrote, “Buying everything, Bey!! I don’t have much hair but for you I’ll wash and style my imaginary curls every day. 😩.”
Beyonce/Instagram“Honestly Beyonce could drop cow manure and we’d all purchase it. 😩 Help us, Lord,” another fan quipped.
As of Wednesday, the brand’s website — which features some of the same footage of the Headliners Hair Salon and a box to sign up for email notifications — doesn’t give any indication to what Cécred’s product line might include.
“Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” the Grammy winner posted in May 2023, referring to her mom’s salon.
Beyoncé follows in the footsteps of a bevvy of celebs who own haircare brands, including Jennifer Aniston, Priyanka Chopra, Tracee Ellis Ross, La La Anthony and Jonathan Van Ness.
