While Bhumi plays the role of an investigative journalist, Sai Tamhankar plays police officer. The Pulkit directorial focuses on the life of a fearless journalist who uncovers shocking secrets hidden within a girls’ shelter home. Bhakshak promises to give an important message to our society. Apart from Bhumi and Sai, Bhakshak also stars Sanjay Mishra and Aditya Srivastava. It is written by Pulkit and Jyotsana Nath. Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma are producing it.

Bhumi talks about playing Vaishali Singh in Bhakshak

Talking about her role in the film, Bhumi said in a statement, “In my journey as an actor, I’ve always been drawn to clutter-breaking films that go beyond the conventional narrative. Bhakshak is also one such film, it is one of the most significant films of my career. Bhakshak will release on Netflix on February 9.
