Bianca Belair teases further competition with IYO SKY.
In the semi-main event of WWE Raw this week, Bianca Belair and IYO SKY battled in a rematch of their 2023 WWE Backlash clash. In that instance, Belair emerged victorious. However, SKY rolled up Belair for a win of her own on Monday’s episode of RAW.
Coming off their latest in-ring encounter, it seems that both Belair and SKY want at least more, whether in the form of singles or tag team action.
I [see] you @Iyo_SkyWWE,” Belair wrote on Twitter. “I’ll give it to you… You did your Big 1 tonight. Let me know when you wanna run it back. …Or bring ya tag team partna and then we can all really have some fun! Our Women’s division is [lit].”
In response, SKY noted that Belair continues to push her “fighting spirit” to the next level. In a separate post, SKY also declared that with a three-count pinfall on Belair, she and Kairi Sane are worthy of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. As such, SKY challenged Belair and Jade Cargill, the current holders of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, to a future tag title match, to which Belair replied “Let’s go!”
As of this writing, WWE has yet to make the title match between Belair-Cargill and SKY-Sane (Damage CTRL) official.
Belair and Cargill recently regained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships by defeating Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre at WWE Bash In Berlin. Their first reign began with a win over a Kairi Sane Asuka WWE Backlash.
