Big blow confirmed for PSG

PSG announced this Saturday morning the withdrawal of its captain Marquinhos for the reception at Stade Rennais on Sunday afternoon.

For the 23rd day of Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Stade Rennais to the Parc des Princes this Sunday (5:05 p.m.). a meeting in which Marquinhos will not take part, injured in a calf. The capital club announced its withdrawal this Saturday.

“Taken in the calf last Saturday against Nantes, Marquinhos will carry out work in the gym today and will be left to rest for the reception at Rennes”we can read in the medical update published by PSG.

Nuno Mendes in the group?

Long-wounded, Presnel Kimpembe and Mina Skriniar “continue their rehabilitation exercises” and will also be absent to face the Bretons;

For his part, Nuno Mendes is once again not mentioned in this medical point. The Portuguese left-back also took part in today’s training. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to make his return to Luis Enrique’s group.
