Paris Saint-Germain is turning to an old track to replace Kylian Mbappé.
Kylian Mbappé’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain appears imminent, leaving a big void in the club’s attack. To fill this void, the capital club has identified its main target: Marcus Rashford of Manchester United.
Rashford, a talented left winger, is seen as the ideal candidate to succeed Mbappé in Luis Enrique’s system. Indeed, the French champion had already tried to recruit him in 2022, but in vain.
MU ready to sell off Rashford?
However, the situation has since evolved. Rashford’s performances have declined this season and his relationship with manager Erik Ten Hag has been strained following off-field incidents. A departure from United therefore seems possible.
THE Daily Mirror claims PSG are ready to offer 87 million euros for the English striker. This sum could be enough to convince the Red Devils to sell him, who nevertheless initially demanded 117 million euros.
The Mancunian’s behavioral problems and the need for Manchester United to replenish their coffers could therefore encourage the Premier League resident to lower his demands.
