Although he claims to have acclimatised to his new life, Kylian Mbappé has nonetheless pointed out a major lack in the Spanish capital.
It’s time for relief for Kylian Mbappé. After three first Liga matches without scoring, the former Parisian took advantage of Betis Sevilla’s visit to the Spanish capital to open his account in the Spanish championship. And rather twice than once since the Bondynois offered himself a double for the occasion. After opening the score thanks to an offering from Federico Valverde, the French world champion doubled the lead a few minutes later on a penalty.
Passing through the mixed zone at the end of the match, the French striker did not hide his pleasure. “I’m very happy to score. A release no, I knew it was coming,”

Kylian Mbappé has nonetheless raised a problem: no longer being able to speak in the language of Molière.. “It’s a bit weird because I don’t speak French much anymore, I miss it a bit,” he confided before returning to his adaptation to his new team. “I’m in the club where I always wanted to be, everything is going very well, I’m really happy with everything that’s happening. We’ve already won a trophy (the European Super Cup)… even if here it goes by quickly, we forget very quickly, that’s the beauty of this club. We’ve won matches. Some were more sluggish but it’s a good start.”
