Family time. There are all kinds of what if stories throughout wrestling history, as fans get to wonder about what could have happened if something had gone another way rather than doing what happened. That can make for some very interesting situations, especially when you find out a new bit of information so far down the line. That is what is happening again with some rather prominent names.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Farewell: 47 Year Old Former WWE Superstar Says His In-Ring Career Is Over

Ring Of Honor World Champion Mark Briscoe spoke to AIPT Comics and revealed that WWE had plans to bring he and his brother Jay, collectively known as the Briscoe Brothers, into the company in 2013. According to Mark, the plan was going to see the team debut as part of the Wyatt Family, with the debut taking place on July 8, 2013. However, the plans were derailed due to controversial tweets from Jay. There is no word on how far along these plans got or how the team would have been debuted. Instead, the two chose to re-sign with Ring Of Honor, where they stayed until Jay’s death last year.

They’re good. Check out what could have joined the Wyatt Family:

Opinion: The more I think about it, the more sense this makes. The Briscoes had a certain raw feeling to them that you cannot fake or manufacture and it would have fit in well with the Wyatt Family. It’s a shame that we never got to see how well they could do in WWE but they certainly left a legacy that will take a long time to surpass. That being said, dang this could have been fascinating to see.

What do you think of the idea? How would the Briscoes have done in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
