Bill Burr and Shane Gillis are teaming up for a comedy show to benefit the victims of the L.A. wildfires.
The comedians are set to perform at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Monday, January 27, in a Live Nation production that will benefit the Wildfire Relief Fund.
The fires across L.A. have killed at least 27 people and destroyed more than 15,000 structures, with the Palisades and Eaton wildfires still burning. Firefighters continue to battle the Palisades Fire, which is now over 60% contained, while the Eaton Fire is almost 90% containment after almost two weeks.
Burr recently made headlines during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, calling out the self-proclaimed wildfire experts on social media.

“Everybody’s doing a great job,” Burr said before adding, “unlike the internet. Oh my god, all of these ‘fire experts.’ [Using an obnoxious know-it-all voice, Burr continued) ‘Why don’t you just fly a helicopter into the ocean?’ I don’t know, maybe because of 100-knot winds…you f*ing lunatic.”

Burr continued in a Cliff Clavin voice, “This was definitely mismanaged,” adding in his own voice, “Like some f*cking idiot on the internet knows how to manage the worst fire in L.A., sitting there in his underwear. ‘You know, looking at the footage on the internet I have determined that this was mismanaged.’ If you’re on the internet, you know f*cking anything.”
