Bill Skarsgard is gearing up to return to the It franchise playing the iconic horror character Pennywise in a new series called Welcome to Derry. The 33-year-old actor first played the terrifying clown in 2017′s It. He reprised the role in 2019′s It Chapter Two and just weighed in on the character’s future in an interview. On Thursday (May 30), it was confirmed that he would be back in action. Keep reading to find out more… Deadline reported that Bill would suit up as Pennywise in the new MAX series, which has a working title of Welcome to Derry. It will bring the character back to the town of Derry, Maine where he traumatized the children in previous projects. It director Michael Muschietti as well as producer Barbara Muschietti and co-producer Jason Fuchs are all back in action for the series. The show has already cast Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk and James Remar. We will update you as we learn more.
