Three months after filing, Billy Ray, 62, and Firerose, 37, finalized their divorce on Monday, August 5, and details about their agreement have been revealed. Keep reading to find out more…According to court documents obtained by The Daily Mail, Firerose received $0 as per their agreement. While Firerose will be walking away without any money, Billy Ray agreed to hand over song credits and royalties that they wrote or published together throughout their relationship. “This past Friday the parties reached a settlement agreement at mediation to dissolve their 7-month marriage, and the Court declared the parties divorced this morning. Mr. Cyrus is relieved to put this nightmare behind him,” Billy Ray’s lawyers, Rose Palermo and Jason Talley, shared in a statement with Us Weekly. “Further, a couple of weeks ago, prior to mediation, Ms. Hodges legally changed her last name from ‘Hodges’ to ‘Cyrus,’” the statement continued. “Mr. Cyrus feels that this validates his assertion that his ex-wife’s sole impetus for marrying him was to obtain his last name.” Seven months after marrying in October 2023, Billy Ray filed for divorce in late May 2024 citing “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct.” Since news broke about their split, the two have publicly thrown nasty allegations against one another, with Firerose claiming that Billy Ray was abusive and him accusing her of cheating and blocking contact with one of his daughters. Just recently, the audio of a heated argument between Billy Ray and Firerose was leaked online.
