BL: Bayern Munich confirms and continues against Freiburg

Still in the running-in phase at the start of the season, Bayern Munich had started the Bundesliga with a difficult victory against Wolfsburg (3-2). The Bavarians who hosted Freiburg confirmed with a second victory in a row. Just before the break, Harry Kane was able to convert his penalty to launch Vincent Kompany’s team (38th).

Freiburg then pushed to try to equalize and despite a weak time, Bayern Munich knew how to put themselves out of harm’s way. Thomas Müller doubled the lead on an offering from Serge Gnabry (78th). In added time, Lucas Holer completely missed his penalty (90th +5). With this 2-0 victory, Bayern Munich joins Heidenheim and RB Leipzig at the top of the championship.
