As part of the 9th day of the Bundesliga, Friborg hosted Mainz this Sunday at the Europa-Park Stadion. After a very convincing start to the season despite a defeat against RB Leipzig last weekend, Julian Schuster’s men hoped to get back on track at home. Dominant during the first act, the Brazilians from Breisgau were however unable to find the fault.

Hanging on at the break, Friborg continued to force its destiny after returning from the locker room but lacked accuracy and inspiration in the final meters and finally conceded the draw. With this result (0-0), Friborg stagnates in 6th place. For its part, Mainz moved back to 12th place.
