Continuation of the 16th day of the Bundesliga. On the lawn of the WWK Arena in Augsburg, Stuttgart provided the essentials by winning by the smallest of margins (0-1). The club showed itself to be dangerous from the 5th minute of play when Ermedin Demirovic attempted a well-placed header, but Finn Dahmen deployed well to preserve his cages. At the end of the first period, Augsburg responded with a strike from Robert Gumny, well saved by Alexander Nubel.

Deliverance finally came in the 65th minute for Stuttgart. Deniz Undav scored the only goal of the match with an unstoppable strike, taking the Augsburg goalkeeper by surprise and sealing the victory for his team (0-1). This success allows Stuttgart to return to 7th place in the standings, ahead of Dortmund and Bremen. For their part, the locals remain 13th in the Bundesliga.
