16 So, it turns out all those rumors about Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni living through a massive rift on the set of It Ends With Us were totally true! So says a new source who is shedding more light on what apparently happened before the rift that was ripped open in the post-production process, at least!
Now, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you know all about the supposed on-set clash between Blake and Justin. That includes allegations that the actor-slash-director fat-shamed the Gossip Girl alum at one point. And so much more, including an unsettling on-screen kiss!
Now, a new source is speaking to Page Six about the mess. In a report published late on Wednesday night, the on-set spy claims that Lively was indeed visibly uncomfortable during the shoot. And she couldn’t get out of there fast enough when filming had wrapped! But the issues were happening WAY earlier than anyone has previously claimed!

Per that Page Six mole, the divide supposedly bubbled up in the eye of others on set because Lively and Baldoni wanted two different final cuts of the movie. That’s a sitch we’ve noted before — that Blake’s so-called “more feminine edits,” according to this insider, eventually won out over Justin’s desires — but there’s a new twist.
See, this insider says problems were happening before the final edits were being discussed. Early on while they were still filming, in fact, Blake seemed peeved just to be on set! The source explained:
“The tension was so obvious.”
Between takes, Lively would allegedly check out of the filmmaking process and stare at her phone the whole time. Not very profesh! As if she were trying to think about literally anything but where she was and what she was doing!
And it got so bad that she bounced as quickly as possible every time that she was finally done with her scenes! The insider added:
“Once she was done with the scene she was really impatient, said, ‘Am I done? Can I go?,’ and as soon as they said ‘yes,’ there was like a Blake-size hole in the wall. She was so outta there.”
Wow! So she did NOT try to hide her impatience at all! Like, not even a little bit!!
And the tension has only gotten higher, and higher, and higher ever since! Plus, Blake is getting it from other angles, too — notably how she approached some of her interviews during the movie’s press tour!
