Ryan Reynolds celebrated his 48th birthday by attending a performance of the hit Broadway musical & Juliet! The Deadpool actor was surprised by wife Blake Lively with tickets to a performance of the musical on Wednesday (October 23) at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York City. After the performance, the couple went backstage to meet the cast, including Maya Boyd, Betsy Wolfe, and Drew Gehling. While they are not pictured, Blake and Ryan were joined by their three eldest children at the show. What do you get him for his birthday? I know he loves musicals, I love musicals, the kids love musicals. So it felt like the right choice!” An insider told the outlet, “It was a great afternoon for the cast, many of whom made their Broadway debuts in this show. To have their work praised by two of Hollywood’s biggest stars is something they’ll never forget.” Joey Fatone is joining the cast of the show for a limited nine-week engagement beginning on January 21, 2025.
