Major League Wrestling confirmed the news on February 6 and noted that Fish will return to the company at the February 29 event. As of this writing, his opponent has not been named.

Details On Bobby Fish Joining MLW

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the NJPW crossover in MLW and Matt Riddle working with the company sparked Bobby Fish’s interest. Sapp also writes that while Fish has been less active in the ring lately, that is set to change.

Fish previously worked a few MLW matches in October 2021 before he landed with AEW. He has also had prominent runs in WWE and ROH. In WWE, he was featured as a member of the Undisputed Era alongside Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly.

During his time in WWE, Fish was a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion. He is also a three-time ROH World Tag Team Champion and a former ROH World Television Champion, among other accolades.

Following Fish’s AEW departure at the end of August 2022, he had a brief run in IMPACT Wrestling. He has otherwise been somewhat active on the independent scene, and he has wrestled a few NJPW shows.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
