Bobby Lashley is working on his comeback.
Lashley has not wrestled since the WWE live event on May 5. He has not competed on WWE television since the April 12 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a post on Instagram, Bobby Lashley posted footage in which he could be seen working out. At the end of the clip, Lashley said that he felt great, and his arm was getting back to shape. He stated that he needed this setback so the comeback could be even greater.
The post included the caption, “Minor setback for a major comeback.”
In July, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Bobby Lashley’s contract was set to expire in the next month or so. Sapp noted that Lashley intended to keep wrestling if the two sides failed to reach a new deal. The report also stated that Lashley had not been in WWE’s creative plans since the spring.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider then reported that Bpbby Lashley and MVP were both expected to leave WWE. Additionally, F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer noted that WWE believed that they would try to reform The Hurt Business once they left.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
