The Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS) has transferred controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky from its custody to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Alagbon, Lagos State.
TheNewGuru.com (TNG) reports that NIS on Monday evening confirmed the arrest of the trans-woman, Bobrisky.
According to the statement signed by the spokesman of NIS, Kenneth Udo, operatives of its agency intercepted Bobrisky at Sème Border while trying to flee the country earlier in the day.
TNG reports that Bobrisky was transferred from the Immigration service office to the FCID where he spent the night with the police.
Confirming this development, the spokesperson for the FCID, Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, said, “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody.”
