Jordynne Grace has solidified her position as one of the most beloved female pro wrestlers globally. Speculations hinted at her debut in the Royal Rumble, and that’s precisely what happened last week. Now, Booker T believes WWE should sign Jordynne Grace following her Royal Rumble debut.
The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event kicked off with the much-anticipated Women’s Royal Rumble match, and it lived up to the excitement. As anticipated, Jordynne Grace made her WWE debut as the 5th entrant.
Jordynne Grace reignited her recent TNA rivalry with Naomi during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, delivering a strong performance. However, she was ultimately eliminated by Bianca Belair. Despite her appearance, it’s important to note that Jordynne Grace remains under contract with TNA, suggesting that her involvement was likely a one-off deal.
While speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Jordynne Grace’s Royal Rumble debut, stating that she looked incredibly impressive and not out of place whatsoever.
“To see her go out and perform the way she did, when she made her walk to the ring, she looked like she belonged. She looked like she was part, I mean, not trying to take her or anything from TNA, but she fit right into the system right now. She looked great.’
During the show, a fan expressed the belief that WWE should sign Jordynne Grace. Booker T agreed with the sentiment but pointed out that she is currently under contract with TNA.
”Hey man, I think they should. But right now, I think she’s still under contract with TNA. Hopefully, if they can make some kind of a deal, where she can still work…I don’t know. This TNA deal seems like it’s something that’s really real.”
The backstage reaction to Jordynne Grace’s Royal Rumble debut was also revealed. WWE and TNA’s relationship after the Royal Rumble also made it clear it may not progress into long-term deal. We’ll have to see if Grace will ever appear on WWE television again.
