Booker T sees a Hall of Fame career as he heaps praise on Oba Femi.

The Nigerian star has had a meteoric rise in NXT since debuting for the WWE. He is the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion of all time, looking dominant throughout his reign.

He one-upped that by beating Trick Williams to win the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil. Oba Femi has looked like a true star in his short career so far and looks to have a huge future in the WWE going forward.

Booker T spoke about Oba Femi on his Hall of Fame Podcast. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he thinks the NXT Champion will have a Hall of Fame career.

“Oba Femi, he’s done so much so soon in his career. He seems like one of those guys that’s going to have a Hall of Fame career, you know? And it seems like he’s going to do it in about 10 years. I think he’s supernatural, man. I really think this is a guy who could be the future of the business. I really think he could be that one guy who goes to the main roster and really takes it by storm.” Booker T said.

“There’s something about this. Like I say, these NIL guys — I swear to God, man — there’s something about them. They pick it up so quick. Unlike, for instance, a lot of people on the independent scene. I don’t know, maybe it’s because in the independent world, you learn a lot of bad habits — yeah, bad habits — and pick up a lot of bad traits.”

“With these NIL guys, they’re coming in, learning television, learning how to go out and perform, and at the same time, they’re bringing such a realism to the game.”
