Bradley Cooper outed Jay-Z as a “Judge Judy” fan while recalling a business meeting he once had with Beyoncé at the power couple’s mansion.
“I went to Beyoncé’s house, and Jay-Z was watching ‘Judge Judy,'” the Oscar nominee told “Sunday Today” anchor Willie Geist on Feb. 6 during a SAG-AFTRA Foundation interview in New York.

Cooper, 49, explained that he had gone to the “Crazy in Love” collaborators’ home to pitch “A Star Is Born” to Beyoncé, 42, before the lead role went to Lady Gaga.
“It was crazy,” he remembered. “[Beyoncé] was incredible, and so was [Jay], and we developed it for, like, a year together. I mean, she’s one of the greatest people of all time.”

While initial reports said Beyoncé had dropped out of the film due to her busy schedule, a Hollywood insider told Page Six exclusively in 2016 that the “Hold Up” singer “wanted too much money, and Warner Bros. balked at her price.”

“Bradley flew out to direct Gaga in the audition himself, and she knocked it out of the park. Then he personally took the tape to Warner Bros. to get approval,” one insider shared.
