Braun Strowman says he is waiting for the doctor’s approval, as far as his return is concerned.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman has not wrestled since the May 1, 2023, episode of WWE RAW. He had neck fusion surgery in June, and he has been sidelined ever since. Updates on his return to the ring have been few and far between.

Speaking during a signing for Fanatics Live, Strowman commented on his recovery. He noted that he was feeling good, and he was waiting for the doctor to say “go.” (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling)

“Really good, really good,” Braun Strowman said. “Feeling good. Just waiting on that doctor to say ‘go’… We’re right there (in the home stretch). Could feel the tension in the air. So May 1st, I got hurt. I had surgery June 1st so, I just had a CT scan back in January. The bones are very close to being fused up so, that feeling I got a metal plate and four screws in my neck now so, but, it ain’t gonna stop me.”

Braun Strowman recently teased that his return is getting “closer and closer.” Check out his comments here.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Strowman will return to WWE programming. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
