The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought former aviation minister Hadi Sirika to court on charges of contract fraud.
Sirika, along with his brother Ahmad Abubakar Sirika and Enginos Nigeria Limited, a company owned by Abubakar, appeared before Justice Suleman Belgore of the FCT High Court in Garki, Abuja.
The charges, dated May 13 and filed on May 14, 2024, consist of a 10-count amended charge.
The accusations against Sirika involve alleged misconduct in the awarding of contracts totaling N19.4 billion to Enginos Nigeria Limited.
All defendants entered pleas of not guilty to the charges.
