BREAKING: Ighodalo Wins Edo Main PDP Primary

Asue Ighodalo has emerged winner of the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

563 delegates voted during the keenly contested primary in Benin City.

Currently, the votes garnered by other aspirants have all been announced with none of them coming close to the votes of Ighodalo which was still being counted by officials.

As of the time of filing this report, Ighodalo’s votes had reached over 455 and still counting which shows that he has already won. It was learned that Governor Godwin Obaseki, the incumbent Governor of Edo State, is heavily backing Ighodalo yo succeed him.
