BREAKING: NLC Rejects FG’s New Minimum Wage Offer

On Wednesday, members of the organized labor criticized the federal government’s proposal.

The federal government offered N48,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

However, the Congress accused both the government and organized private sector of demeaning them with what they termed “absurd proposals.”

Despite the government offering N48,000 and the organized private sector proposing N54,000, labor leaders expressed discontent during a briefing held at Labour House. They argued that the government failed to provide any supporting data for these offers.
