Ivan Toney has declared he 'can't make clubs get me' as he claimed he feels as though Thomas Frank 'doesn't want me'.

The Brentford striker made the bombshell comments after scoring in his side's 2-0 win away at Wolves on Saturday.

Toney now has three Premier League goals in four games since returning from his eight-month FA betting ban in January.

Question marks still remain over where he will be playing next season with the 27-year-old unlikely to pen fresh terms on his contract which expires in 2025.

And Frank recently put Arsenal and Chelsea on red alert by conceding he expects the one-cap England international will be sold in the summer.

The ex-Newcastle striker reacted to the Danish manager's views following the victory at Molineux, where he remained coy on his future.

He told BBC Sport: "I'm a Brentford player at the moment, nobody can predict the future.

"Whatever happens, happens but the main focus is do well for Brentford, keep them in the league and keep getting goals and three points."

Asked for his take on Frank's comments, he remarked: "I see that as he doesn't want me.

"The manager has said what he's said but I can't make clubs come and get me.

"I've just got to keep doing what I do and that's score goals. What will be will be."

Toney has not been shy in his desire to join a top club, where he appeared to drop a 'come and get me' plea to potential suitors last month.

talkSPORT understands that Brentford will demand at least £80million to part ways with the centre-forward in the summer.

And it is Arsenal and Chelsea that are believed to be the two front-runners with the London rivals desperate to sign a physical striker.
