Bret Hart Will Appear On WWE Raw Season Premiere On September 9

Bret Hart has been announced to appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

The WWE Hall of Famer will make his first appearance on Raw in nine years. The show will be broadcast from the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Due to this, the hometown hero is being welcomed with open arms back to the WWE.

Bret Hart last appeared in the WWE at Clash at the Castle 2022. Additionally, he also made an appearance in AEW. The former WWE Champion presented the AEW Championship for the first time, when he appeared at the first Double or Nothing in 2019.

Bret Hart was announced to take part of WWE’s “season premiere” of Raw on September 9 on Twitter by WWE interviewer Jackie Redmond. She announced that The Hitman would be at the Saddledome in Calgary on Monday, exciting fans in his hometown in Canada.

She wrote on Twitter: “BREAKING: I can officially confirm that Canadian LEGEND, Bret The Hitman Hart, will be in attendance this Monday for the season premiere of #WWERAW at the Saddledome in Calgary !!! Break out your pink and let’s rock!”

Meanwhile, WWE’s Triple H also took to Twitter to discuss Bret Hart making an appearance. He warned fans that they “don’t want to miss this”, hyping up Monday’s episode of Raw featuring The Hitman.

“When in Hart country. @BretHart joins us for #WWERaw’s massive season premiere. This Monday at 8/7c LIVE from Calgary on @USANetwork. You definitely won’t want to miss this.”

However, it is unknown what part Bret Hart will play in the proceedings. He is unlikely to get physical, so will likely only be making a fleeting appearance with limited involvement in major storylines.
