Manchester United target Brian Brobbey says he hasn’t spoken to Erik ten Hag about a move to Old Trafford, and he wants to remain at Ajax.

The striker turned down a move to the Red Devils in 2022 following Ten Hag’s appointment at Old Trafford.
Brobbey, then at RB Leipzig, opted to return to former club Ajax despite Ten Hag telling him that he could significantly increase his salary in England.
‘Erik ten Hag called me and said that at United, my agent would get millions of euros and I could earn a multiple of my Ajax salary,’ Brobbey said in 2022.
With Anthony Martial injured and Rasmus Hojlund struggling with the burden of being the club’s first choice striker, Ten Hag has revived United’s interest in Brobbey.
But, following his two goals in a 4-1 win against RKC on Sunday, Brobbey said he hadn’t spoken to Ten Hag and wanted to remain in the Dutch capital.
‘I know nothing about any interest from Manchester United,’ said Brobbey.
‘I read it on the news, but I am staying in Amsterdam.
‘I am not in contact with Erik ten Hag anymore. We used to text through Whatsapp, but I think Erik is busy. I have a new number as well, so..’
