Zach Bryan’s ex-girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia accused the country singer of emotional abuse two weeks after he announced their breakup on social media.
LaPaglia admitted to being “scared” of Bryan during Thursday’s episode of the “BFFs” podcast alongside co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” the 25-year-old internet personality claimed. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him.”

“My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad. And last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared,” she said.
She also alleged the Grammy winner, 28, has made his previous exes sign NDAs.
“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice but to take money from you,” LaPaglia claimed.
“[They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing you little f–king songs onstage like you’re a good dude.”

“[This podcast episode] is for anyone else that’s been emotionally abused and for people right now being emotionally abused,” she said.
“It’s for people that don’t have a support system that I was lucky enough to have going through this.”

The podcaster went on to claim the singer love-bombed her at first and then “manipulated” her over the course of their yearlong relationship.
“I truly thought he was this great dude because in the first four months of our relationship he was. … That’s who I fell in love with,” she said.
LaPaglia accused Bryan of “screaming” at her during fights and treating her “so poorly” she would cry herself to sleep at night.
“It was just this constant cycle of build you up, beat you down … apologize over and over and over,” she claimed.

“I’m not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me, and I’m a lot stronger than a weak man. F–k you and f–k your money,” she said.
Reps for Bryan did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The now-exes were first romantically linked in July 2023. Shortly before Bryan confirmed their split in October, screenshots of his profile on celebrity dating app Raya circulated on Reddit and TikTok.
